Gained weight for: Magic Mike
Lost weight for: The Dallas Buyer's Club

Playing on his reputation for shirtlessness, McConaughey played Dallas, the owner of a male dance revue in Steven Soderbergh's 2012 stripper flick (pictured, left). But it's paparazzi shots from another Dallas entirely (the film in which McConaughey has reported dropped 30 pounds to play a man with AIDS) that are creating buzz.
