WATCH HIM: The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe (2005)
Known as Father Christmas (James Cosmo) in the book and the film, he makes a brief, but crucial, appearance in the magical Narnia as a symbol of festive joy. Prior to the children's arrival, the White Witch had cursed Narnia to always be winter and never Christmas, but Father Christmas' appearance is a welcome sign that the tide is changing. He's most important in the story for a rather typical Santa duty: Presents. His gifts to the children include a sword and shield to Peter which allows him to save Susan from a wolf.Erin Strecker
