Looking as regal as a world leader, President Geena Davis accepted her Best Actress in a Drama award for ABC's Commander in Chief with an anecdote worthy of Ronald Reagan. She said that earlier that night, a little girl in her first party dress told her, ''Because of you, I want to be president someday.'' Davis paused for applause, then admitted, ''Well, that didn't actually happen. But it could have.'' Nice spin there, Madam President.
