Though Brokeback Mountain won four major awards, the movie's stars — including on-screen and off-screen couple Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams — never got a podium moment. Their presence would have been more welcome than Dennis Quaid, who introduced a clip of the movie with an arcane gay joke that drew no laughs: ''Let's just say it rhymes with chick flick.'' Let's just say we'll look for better lines — about this movie at least — at the Oscars.
