Stealing Harvard (2002)

CHARACTER John Plummer, who's caught in a bind: He wants to honor his promise to pay his niece's first-year college tuition (she's going to Harvard and needs $30,000), but his fiancée Elaine (Leslie Mann, left) has already spent their nest egg as a down payment on their dream house.

SLEAZE FACTOR High. For one thing, he has to share this tired caper comedy with Tom Green (center), as the goofy pal who persuades John and Elaine to turn to burglary and armed robbery to raise the tuition money. Haven't these people ever heard of financial aid?
