Tonight's Best
A DAILY GUIDE TO NOTABLE SHOWS by Clark Collis
Season PremiereLittle People, Big World
A-Patriarch Matt Roloff sets off to help three young Iraqi little people get some much-needed medical attention. The show drags at first as we follow Matt's travels, but by the end, buckets of tears are inevitable. Tanner Stransky
SpongeBob SquarePants’ ‘’WhoBob WhatPants?’’
As far back as I can remember, I've always wanted to be a gangster. And, to hear Ray Liotta guest-voice on SpongeBob. Which means, after tonight, I've just got the gangster thing to figure out.
Gossip Girl
Blair & Co. visit Yale. Who says this show's not educational? Oh yeah, that would be me.
Heroes
Claire searches for a baddie who can create black holes. She should take a right at the missing planet.
Season PremiereSamantha Who?
Christina Applegate goes into pluck overdrive in a second-season premiere that has, to my ear, not a single competent punchline. The dialogue failing her, Applegate frantically dances and strips to her skivvies, as recent Emmy winner Jean Smart mugs even more strenuously while delivering yuks like ‘’After the coma, you had to relearn to peel an orange!’’ One should not have to spend 30 minutes feeling sorry for people starring in a sitcom.
