Best friends Liv (Kate Hudson) and Emma (Anne Hathaway) have been dreaming of their perfect Plaza Hotel weddings since they were little girls. So it seems only fitting that the two become engaged at the same time, until — holy matrimony! — their ceremonies are accidentally booked for the same day (Candice Bergen co-stars as their elite wedding planner Marion St. Claire). Based on the book by Bishop T.D. Jakes (who also produces), Not Easily Broken tells the story of hot shot real estate agent Clarice (Taraji P. Henson) and her professionally unsatisfied husband Dave (Morris Chestnut), who heads a small construction firm. Wrapped up in her career, Clarice ignores Dave's unhappiness and his desire to start a family, until a car accident leaves her seriously injured and in physical therapy. Clarice begins to suspect a growing relationship between her therapist, single mom Julie Sawyer (Maeve Quinlan), and her disgruntled husband. Clarice and Dave must decide if their marriage is worth salvaging.
