This should make Mr. Gilmore happy. Adam Sandler has purchased the 3,000-square-foot home that he's been leasing for six months. (Zeke Torres Estrada of Coldwell Banker Malibu had the listing.) Built in 1947, the three-level spread was remodeled seven years ago. Perched on a bluff, the house boasts 25-foot glass walls with sweeping ocean views. The bottom level is an enclosed party deck big enough for 100 guests. Sandler paid an additional $650,000 for the furnishings and an art collection assembled by a former owner, an associate of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Who says you can't buy taste?
