All About

Robert Redford

No more dancing in the California sun for Robert Redford. The Sundance Kid has sold his contemporary beach house of eight years. Built in 1948, the gated, 5,300-square-foot home sits on a sandy stretch near the seaside homes of Goldie Hawn, Tom Hanks, and Steven Spielberg. The actor - director reportedly is also unloading a three-bedroom penthouse in Manhattan: It's listed for $15 million, some $11 million more than he paid for it in 1997. Apparently, he's keeping his permanent residence in Utah, which sits on more than 5,000 acres, next to his ski area and the Sundance Institute.
