J.J. Abrams is boldly going where George Lucas has gone before? Yes, it's true, the rumors that were flying everywhere at warp speed (or were they making the jump to hyperspace?) and EW confirmed it Thursday with Abrams himself: During a lunch interview on Thursday the commander of cinema's Starfleet said he is beaming over to the universe where the Jedi roam. What's next, Peter Jackson taking over as headmaster of Hogwarts?
The two biggest brands in deep-space adventure are not supposed to mix, except on YouTube or San Diego bus benches when Comic-Con International comes to town in July.
