Stampy, a large African elephant, becomes a part of the Simpsons home after Bart wins him in a radio contest. The big guy becomes too expensive to keep as a pet and is eventually given a home at a wildlife reserve. Stampy is alluded to or appears in a number of other Simpsons episodes as well as in The Simpsons Movie, where he rams the dome that covers Springfield.
