High Maintenance renewed for a second season on HBO

The Guy is going to be making a lot more deliveries now that HBO has renewed Ben Sinclair and Katja Blichfeld’s comedy, High Maintenance, for a second season.

The show — which got its start as a web series before being picked by HBO — follows a New York-based weed deliveryman (played by co-creator Sinclair) as he visits his various clients. This offers the show the chance to provide a glimpse into new characters’ private lives every episode. The series’ current six-episode first season run began on Sept 16.

“The response to the new episodes exceeded all of our expectations,” said Casey Bloys, head of HBO programming. “Ben and Katja are brilliant, unconventional storytellers and we’re excited to see what they dream up for us in our second season.”

High Maintenance airs Fridays at 11 p.m. on HBO.
