Konami confirmed to EW that Silent Hills, in the state it was conceived by producers Guillermo del Toro and Hideo Kojima with The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus starring in the game, has been canceled.

Marvel teaming up with Telltale Games for a future game project

While Marvel’s stable of heroes have been ruling the box office for years, their presence in video games has been, in a word, sparse since Disney acquired Marvel. Mobile games have frequently popped up, an MMO called Marvel Heroes has been around for a couple of years, and Disney Infinity integrated Spider-Man with Mickey Mouse last year. But otherwise the likes of Iron Man, Captain America, and Wolverine haven’t seen much play in narratively driven games.
