Adam Lambert & Laleh performed 'Welcome to the Show' on American Idol

Bring on all the lights for Adam Lambert. 

The singer, who rose to fame after being the eighth-season runner-up on American Idol, returned to the Idol stage with Swedish singer-songwriter Laleh to perform his latest single, “Welcome to the Show,” on Thursday night.

The confident ballad, a departure from Lambert’s previous high-tempo singles, is Lambert’s first original release since his last LP, The Original High, debuted in 2015.
