The winners of the 2015 Pulitzer Prizes were announced Monday via livestream on YouTube.

Anthony Doerr’s World War II tale All The Light We Cannot See, about a blind French girl and a German boy, won the Pulitzer for fiction, while Elizabeth Kolbert’s The Sixth Extinction: An Unnatural History took the general nonfiction prize. Other book winners include:
