'Crazy' turns 10: CeeLo reflects on the hit's legacy

Gnarls Barkley’s 2006 smash “Crazy” — that pulsating slice of retro R&B for the digital age — clocks in at just over three minutes, but it still captivates and inspires a decade later. Not that CeeLo Green and Danger Mouse expected that the song, which celebrates its 10th birthday today, would have that type of longevity.

“I didn’t think much of it at the time,” CeeLo tells EW. “This is not to devalue it — I just didn’t know.”

CeeLo Green wants to return to The Voice

CeeLo Green is looking to make amends — which, he hopes, will include a return to a certain big red chair.

“I’ve talked very possibly about doing The Voice again,” Green, who coached four seasons of NBC’s reality singing competition, said in an interview with the Associated Press on Wednesday. “So I just kind of put that out there, wishful thinking, kind of willing it. Because I would love to do it again.”

David Byrne receives stacked Carnegie Hall tribute

Great as they are, Joey Ramone and Debbie Harry’s legacies can’t hold a candle to David Byrne’s. It’s hard to imagine another of CBGB’s early mainstays receiving the same type of tribute the Talking Heads frontman received Monday night at Carnegie Hall, as part of Michael Dorf’s 11th annual concert to benefit music education programs.
