To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the release of Fast Five Friday, we have ranked the final scenes of every Fast and Furious film, from the days where Brian let Dom get away to the franchise’s touching farewell to Paul Walker.
An emotional Vin Diesel paid tribute to Paul Walker at Wednesday’s People’s Choice Awards.
Diesel accepted the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Movie for Furious 7 during the ceremony, and said he had hoped to keep his feelings in check. “I was cool while I was sitting in my seat, and then they handed me two awards. One for favorite action movie, and one for favorite film,” Diesel said. “You all thought this was your favorite film. So I think of Dom and Brian, and I start to think of Paul.”
2015 was officially the biggest year at the box office in movie history. According to Rentrak, the global box office hit a record height of more than $38 billion.
After Paul Walker’s daughter filed a wrongful death lawsuit Monday against Porsche, the carmaker has responded.
“As we have said before, we are very sad whenever anyone is hurt in a Porsche vehicle, but we believe the authorities’ reports in this case clearly establish that this tragic crash resulted from reckless driving and excessive speed,” a representative for Porsche said in a statement provided to EW.

Furious 7 was already one of the biggest movies of the year, with a worldwide box office of $1.5 billion, and it hasn’t slowed down since transitioning to home entertainment last week. Universal announced that Furious 7 has already made an additional $52.5 million across physical and digital sales formats, including 2.5 million units on Blu-ray and DVD, since its home release on Sep. 15. Those are huge figures — the biggest of any 2015 release — especially in a Blu-ray/DVD market that has cratered in recent years.
Furious 7 launched the Fast & Furious franchise to stratospheric heights at the box office earlier this year, and though the franchise may have nowhere to go but space, the Honest Trailer take on the movie reminds you just how ridiculous — and moving — the movie was.
Screen Junkies takes a dive deep into the high-stakes car action and such thrilling battles as when “two gorillas hit each other with sticks in a parking lot.”
The Furious 7 Blu-Ray arrives next Tuesday (Sept. 15), after a theatrical run that took the fast-car franchise to new box office heights. For fans of the series, Furious 7 was a bittersweet experience: It’s the final film to star Paul Walker, the longtime featured player in the series who died during the making of the movie. You can catch some poignant glimpses of Walker in an exclusive behind-the-scenes clip.
An emotional Vin Diesel praised Paul Walker and his daughter Meadow during this year’s Teen Choice Awards after Furious 7 took home the award for Choice Movie: Action.
“I can’t stand here and be rewarded like this without talking about somebody very, very, very important to us,” Diesel, who stood alongside costars Ludacris, Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez, said as the crowd cheered. “One of the best blessings in our lives is the fact that we have the opportunity to call Pablo our brother. Paul Walker is here in spirit with us.”
