Henry Winkler pays tribute to Garry Marshall during Emmys In Memoriam

The In Memoriam segment at this year’s Emmys kicked off with a personal tribute to legendary director and producer Garry Marshall. Although Marshall did a lot of work in film (directing such classics as Pretty Woman and The Princess Diaries), he was also a longtime TV producer, developing iconic shows like Happy Days and The Odd Couple (both the original ’70s version and its two later reboots).

Happy Days: Henry Winkler meets the Bronze Fonz in Milwaukee

Happy Days are here again.

Henry Winkler, as TV fans will remember, brought to life the iconic role of Arthur Fonzarelli, a.k.a. “The Fonz,” in the 1970s sitcom Happy Days. Tuesday, Winkler stopped by the “Bronze Fonz” statue in Milwaukee, where the classic series was set.

“Oh yes, I visit [it] when I’m in Milwaukee,” Winkler wrote, cheesing with his bronze doppelgänger.

Henry Winkler, William Shatner and more team up for NBC's Better Late Than Never

Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw, George Foreman and Jeff Dye are joining forces for NBC’s reality adventure series Better Late Than Never, the network announced Tuesday.

The one-hour series, set to begin production in August, will unite the five men for a excursion throughout Asia, traveling to cities like Tokyo, Kyoto, Seoul and Hong Kong without their usual luxuries of assistants, limos, and lattes.
