Nice as F--- plead for peace in first network TV performance

Jenny Lewis is no stranger to TV: The musician got her start in the entertainment business by appearing on shows like The Golden Girls, and has since performed on late-night shows as a solo act as well as with Rilo Kiley and the Postal Service. But she reached a new small screen milestone Monday when her new band, Nice as F—, made its network TV debut on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

Jenny Lewis band Nice as F--k debuts first song on Spotify

Jenny Lewis’ supergroup Nice As F–k opened the door to Spotify. 

Lewis and fellow members Au Revoir Simone’s Erika Forster, and The Like’s Tennessee Thomas initially formed at a New York rally for Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. This weekend, they debuted their first song, “Door,” on the music streaming service.
