Joe Manganiello pulls out of History Channel drama SIX due to health issue

Fans won’t see Joe Manganiello suit up for History Channel’s Navy SEAL Team Six drama. The actor had to drop out of the project during production due to a health issue, EW has confirmed.

The issue is linked to a pre-existing condition. Manganiello is not in danger, but the actor has decided to leave the project due to its physical demands. In light of this, production has halted on SIX until he is is replaced.

EW has learned exclusively that Joe Manganiello, last seen with hardly nothing on in Magic Mike XXL, will play opposite Anna Faris in an upcoming episode of the CBS sitcom.

Manganiello will play Julian, a newcomer to Alcoholics Anonymous who Christy (Faris) takes under her wing. It’s not so easy for Christy to help him, though, since Julian is so dang hot.
