Casting Net: James Franco to direct, star in Steinbeck adapation 'In Dubious Battle'

  • James Franco will be starring in his adaptation of John Steinbeck’s In Dubious Battle. The film, which tells the story of a man who tried to organize a fruit picker strike in Southern California, will star Selena Gomez, Vincent D’Onofrio, Robert Duvall, Ed Harris, Bryan Cranston, and Danny McBride. Principal photography begins in March.
