Kaley Cuoco says more Big Bang Theory is 'a very expensive question'

As The Big Bang Theory enters season 10, the focus has turned to the show’s future. Is the hit CBS sitcom and recent Poppy Award winner approaching the finish line or are there enough jokes to make about nerds to fill another season? For series star Kaley Cuoco, the question of an eleventh season comes down to one thing: money.

“It’s a very expensive question for a lot of people,” said Cuoco on Jimmy Kimmel Live Monday.

Kaley Cuoco apologizes for controversial American flag photo

Kaley Cuoco apologized on Tuesday after inciting outrage by posting a photo of her dogs sitting on an American flag.

“I would like to comment on a photo I posted yesterday, that has caused lots of controversy,” Cuoco wrote on Instagram. “First off, please know, I have the utmost respect for my country. I am a proud American in every sense of the word. I understand the American flag stands for our freedom and represents American heroes, past and present.”

The Big Bang Theory may be America’s No. 1 comedy now, but CBS’ geeky sitcom about a quartet of comic book-obsessed scientists and their out-of-their-league neighbor once struggled to get off the ground.

The series, created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, debuted in 2007 to roughly 9.5 million viewers — certainly not ratings to balk at now, but the writers’ strike would prove to be an obstacle just a month after the show bowed. “We did seven or eight episodes and then the writers’ strike hit,” star Johnny Galecki tells EW. “We had a lot of things that were stacked against us. I know everyone feels like their show is the little show that could, but I feel like we really overcame a lot.”
