Kate Upton slams MLB after fiancé Justin Verlander loses Cy Young Award

Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander lost the American League Cy Young Award, and fiancée Kate Upton is not happy about that result.

Rick Porcello of the Boston Red Sox won the honor, which is bestowed upon the best pitcher in each Major League Baseball leage, despite receiving fewer first-place votes than Verlander. When the result was announced, Upton blasted the system and called out sportwriters, who vote for the award.

Casting Net: Ethan Hawke, John Goodman tapped for Luc Besson's Valerian adaptation

  • Director Luc Besson added a pair of names to his Valérian and Laureline adaptation. Ethan Hawke and John Goodman are on board the sci-fi blockbuster. Hawke’s role is unknown, but Goodman will voice a computer-generated alien. The movie is based from Pierre Christin and Jean-Claude Mezieres’ 1967 novel, which has been an ongoing comic. Dane DeHaan and Cara Delevingne lead, with Clive Owen and Rihanna also appearing.

Kate Upton says she didn't give Terry Richardson permission to post that 'Cat Daddy' video

During an interview with Vogue UK, Kate Upton revealed she wasn’t happy with Terry Richardson when he released the now-infamous “Cat Daddy” video of her dancing in a string bikini back in 2012.

The video quickly went viral, garnering millions of views which left the model “horrified” enough to confront the photographer. “I was like, ‘That was disrespectful, you could have told me!’” Upton told the magazine.

When Sports Illustrated celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Swimsuit Issue on Tuesday night, some of the most famous SI cover girls showed up to celebrate.

The first time she landed the cover in 1999 she went by Rebecca Romijn-Stamos – because she was married to actor John Stamos – but by her second appearance in 2006, Rebecca Romijn had dropped the hyphen and was dating actor Jerry O’Connell.
