There are few things Ellen DeGeneres loves more than scaring her guests, and Kellie Pickler was the latest star to get fooled by the prankster.

Even though Halloween is still more than a month away, Ellen had a costumed geisha on hand to leave Kellie Pickler jumping out of her seat and yelping with fright on her recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

“Oh my god, what the hell was that?” Pickler exclaimed once she managed to catch her breath.

DeGeneres built up to the shock by chatting with Pickler about her recent trip to Japan.
