Matt Bomer is a nice guy — he just doesn’t play one on film very often. And although the actor and father of three has occasionally felt a pang of anxiety over the family-unfriendliness of some of his roles, he recently got some helpful advice from fellow dad and costar Ryan Gosling.

The Motion Picture & Television Fund is adding major star wattage to its fifth annual “Reel Stories, Real Lives” event, as the charitable organization announced Friday Matt Bomer, Danny DeVito, Michael Douglas, Kirsten Dunst, and Bryce Dallas Howard will take the stage as storytellers at the April 7 ceremony in Los Angeles.
