O.J.: Made In America begins with shots of the American West – a highway stretching toward a vanishing point; blue skies over parched, bleached terrain – and a voice talking about a certain kind of American Dream, one that often leads to dead-ends or nowhere at all. “As a kid living in the ghetto, one of the things I wanted most was not money. Denise Brown, Nicole Brown Simpson's sister, signs true crime series deal with NBC

Denise Brown, sister of Nicole Brown Simpson, has signed a deal with NBC News’ Peacock Productions to develop a new true crime series.

“Peacock Productions’ expertise in the true-crime narrative and unscripted programming is unparalleled,” Brown said in a statement. “I am excited to begin working with Peacock and tell the stories of lives that have forever been changed by the criminal justice system.”

The untitled series will find Brown working alongside a team of experts to “investigate cases where justice has been called into question,” Peacock said.

Hard Evidence: O.J. Is Innocent event series will reexamine the infamous case

As The People v. O.J. Simpson ends with high ratings and ESPN prepares its lauded documentary series on the fallen NFL icon, interest in Simpson’s murder case has peaked once again. In response to that demand, Investigation Discovery is putting together a new event series, Hard Evidence: O.J. Is Innocent, set to debut early next year.

Hard Evidence, which already has Martin Sheen aboard as an executive producer and narrator, pulls from the work of Dallas-based investigator William C. Dear, who has no official connection to the case.

Four episodes of The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story have aired, and the series has produced one growing meme: David Schwimmer’s use of the word “Juice.”

Schwimmer plays Simpson’s close friend and attorney Robert Kardashian in the anthology series, a character who affords the former Friends star a chance to say “Juice” quite often. To celebrate this frequent occurrence, YouTube user Nicholas Martin cut together every instance in a new mashup video.
