Walking Dead writer Robert Kirkman to end superhero comic Invincible next year

Writer Robert Kirkman has announced that he will wind down his longrunning comic, Invincible, next year, with issue #144. The title, which debuted in January 2003, relates the saga of a superhero named Mark Grayson (AKA Invincible) and his attempts to protect earth from a multitude of threats. Kirkman is also the writer of The Walking Dead comic and an executive producer on AMC’s zombie show of the same name.
