It’s finally time to meet Paige’s (Katharine McPhee) estranged mother.
Lea Thompson makes her long awaited debut as Paige’s con artist mom Veronica Dineen in this exclusive clip from Scorpion’s Thanksgiving episode, which airs Monday night.
Toby might be in his most out-of-water situation yet on the upcoming episode of Scorpion.
The gambling member of the titular squad has to infiltrate a CNN-like political talk show on election night to find whoever is responsible for hacking the election system. In an EW exclusive clip, blending in is easier said than done for the psychiatrist.
Walter and Paige finally said “I love you to each other” in Monday night’s episode, although it wasn’t the most ideal circumstance.
Walter (Elyes Gabel), trapped in a rocket heading for space, starts hallucinating a conversation with Paige (Katharine McPhee). Then, he starts talking to the real Paige, who gets on the microphone to shake him out of his reverie and make him do what he needs to do to save himself. At one point, Walter confesses his love to her, and she responds. Unfortunately, it seems as though Walter doesn’t (consciously) remember any of this.
Scorpion has tapped Lea Thompson to play Paige’s mother, EW has learned exclusively.
The Back to the Future alum will portray Veronica Dineen, an accomplished con artist who comes back into Paige’s (Katharine McPhee) life after years behind bars during the upcoming Thanksgiving-themed episode.
Remember how last season of Scorpion ended so calmly, with Toby almost dying and Happy turning down his proposal and Paige running off with Armstrong and Walter speeding after them in a car? Oh, yeah. I guess Scorpion didn’t end so calmly after all.
Walter (Elyes Gabel) is in for a rude awakening when he shows up in Lake Tahoe to profess his love to Paige (Katharine McPhee), who is there attending a jazz festival with Tim Armstrong (Scott Porter).
“It goes beyond what his worst expectations could’ve been,” says executive producer Nicholas Wootton.
Adds EP Nick Santora: “Usually when Walter has a plan, it works out because he’s genius. He goes to Tahoe with a plan and let’s just say he stumbles upon a variable he doesn’t expect.”
The Scorpion cast is kicking doors and taking names.
After two seasons of will-they-won’t-they, Walter and Paige may finally be on the road to getting together when Scorpion returns in the fall.
In the finale, Walter (Elyes Gabel) set out to finally profess his love for Paige (Katharine McPhee), who was heading to Tahoe with new flame Tim (Scott Porter). “[The] first episode back is pretty much a direct pickup, a couple hours after where we left off,” executive producer Nicholas Wootton said at the show’s Comic-Con panel on Thursday. “We’re going to see what happens when Walter goes to Tahoe.”
“Toby or Not Toby?” That is the biggest Scorpion question tonight.
Last week’s penultimate episode of Scorpion season 2 left fans wondering where asylum-escapee Mark Collins (Joshua Leonard) was taking a knocked out Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas), but there’s another question we can’t ignore: How did Collins break out of the asylum to begin with?
