Bad Moms directors want sequel to original film: 'We have a great idea'

After the success of this summer’s Bad Moms, STX announced it was staying in the family game with a spinoff, Bad Dads. But while that film has a release date set for July 14 of next year, the writing-directing team behind the original film, Jon Lucas and Scott Moore (The Hangover), say they’re also looking to give those bad mothers a sequel of their own.

Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn portray three moms who have had it with the pressure to do every part of motherhood and career perfectly. The trio hangs out, alcohol gets consumed, and then before you know it, they are running through the grocery store, pulling items off the shelves.

Leslie Mann set to star in comedy from The Hangover writers

Leslie Mann has found her next comedy project, courtesy of some of the minds behind The Hangover.

EW can confirm that Mann is set to star in an untitled female-led comedy that should be well on its way to an R-rating. The film will be written and directed by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, writers of The Hangover. The duo last directed together on 21 & OverDeadline originally reported the project.
