Sean 'Puff Daddy' Combs to appear on ABC's Notorious — exclusive

It’s only appropriate that ABC’s new show Notorious feature a guest star who is, well, notorious.

Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs will be appearing as himself in an upcoming episode of the drama, EW has learned exclusively.

Fictional Combs will be stopping by the set of the the show’s news program, Louise Herrick Live, to pick up the host (played by Kate Jennings Grant) and take her out for martinis at Chateau Marmont. He will also interact with star Piper Perabo’s character, Julia George, who produces the top-rated TV news program.

P. Diddy's rep calls reports on UCLA assault allegation 'wholly inaccurate'

One day after P. Diddy was arrested for allegedly assaulting a UCLA football coach, the rap mogul’s representatives have slammed the charges as erroneous.

“The various accounts of the event and charges that are being reported are wholly inaccurate,” his rep said in a statement released Tuesday. “What we can say now is that any actions taken by Mr. Combs were solely defensive in nature to protect himself and his son. We are confident that once the true facts are revealed, the case will be dismissed.”

Sean Combs’s music is one of those “don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone” situations. Sure, it was fun to clown him back in the day for his goofy dance moves and “Don’t worry if I write rhymes / I write checks” approach to rapping, not to mention his blatant courting of the pop charts. But in 2015 those have all become totally acceptable in the rap world, and once you start remembering not only his productions for Big and Mary but also Ma$e and J.Lo and The LOX and those couple of really good solo joints, you start to miss the guy’s presence.
