Radiohead debut the Paul Thomas Anderson-directed video for 'Numbers'

Radiohead debuted a new music video on Wednesday for A Moon Shaped Pool’s “The Numbers,” directed by There Will Be Blood filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson.

The clip features frontman Thom Yorke and guitarist Jonny Greenwood playing the slow-burning track on a pair of wooden benches in front of the lush backdrop of the mountains in Tarzana, Calif. Thom Yorke 'as f---ed off' as fans who missed Radiohead tickets

Radiohead concerts seem to occur as often as Leap Day. Tickets are as fleeting, too, and frontman Thom Yorke has some empathy for the struggle.

Tickets for the group’s 2016 World Tour went on sale Friday. But earlier in the day, the group’s three-show stay at London’s tiny Roundhouse went up for grabs and quickly sold out.

Thom Yorke played two new songs in Paris on Friday night

The first, called “Silent Spring,” included a moment where Yorke paused and said, “This is Jonny’s bit,” a reference to the band’s guitarist, Jonny Greenwood. Yorke, however, did not confirm that the new song would be part of the group’s next record. Fan shot footage of Yorke performing “Silent Spring” can be seen below.

Thom Yorke made an 18-day-long soundtrack, still not new Radiohead music

We’re still awaiting Radiohead’s follow-up to 2011’s The King of Limbs, but at least Thom Yorke’s staying busy. Really, really, really, busy, apparently. Yorke’s friend and artist Stanley Donwood, who created all but one of the band’s album covers (Pablo Honey), has a retrospective art exhibit in Sydney, “The Panic Office,” running through June 6.

So Thom Yorke's face is on the cover of an Iranian sex and relationships book

Meet Thom Yorke. He’s the leader of a band you might have heard of called Radiohead. They’re moderately successful, and critics kind of like them. It’s been four years since their last release, The King of Limbs, and despite side projects keeping Yorke busy, apparently he needed to do more for the world. Like lend a picture of his face to the cover of an Iranian book.

Not making this up. Here’s proof:

Find out how much Spotify actually pays Taylor Swift and other top artists

Taylor Swift’s latest high-profile breakup was a change from the usual, being a global music streaming service rather than a tousle-haired pop star. Two weeks ago she pulled her music from Spotify, inspiring industry pundits to debate the sustainability of a platform that can’t hold onto its market’s biggest star of the moment and Spotify to make a very public plea for her to return.
