Blink-182 might record an album with Matt Skiba

Alkaline Trio frontman Matt Skiba stepped in when Tom DeLonge left Blink-182 last March, and now Skiba says he’d like to record an album with the band.

“I’ve known the Blink guys for about 15 years and we’ve become good friends,” Skiba told Alternative Nation. “Playing songs I haven’t written with Mark and Travis is a blast, so to go in and create music with them would be amazing.”

Tom DeLonge shares first video since Blink-182 split, clearly isn't over it

Tom DeLonge and Blink-182 split earlier this year on great terms… only the opposite. So now the former frontman is on his own. His solo album, To the Stars, due on April 21. The first single, which has a maybe-maybe-not subtweet title of “New World,” was released last month.
