Nicole Scherzinger's Britney Spears impression has us saying 'Gimme More'

Nicole Scherzinger proved she has the X factor when it comes to celebrity impersonations. The former Pussycat Dolls frontwoman dazzled her fellow X Factor U.K. judge Simon Cowell with a spot-on Britney Spears impression.

While getting touch-ups behind the scenes of the talent competition show, Scherzinger was asked by Cowell to perform impressions. She mimicked him, as well as Shakira, Rihanna, and even Kermit the Frog singing Adele’s “Hello,” but her Spears imitation brought on the giggle fits.

Simon Cowell apologizes for swearing on The X Factor

Sunday night’s episode of The X Factor kicked off the brutal six-chair challenge, but before that, the judges were told which groups they’d be mentoring moving forward in the competition. 

In descending order, Simon Cowell declared that his preference would be to mentor “the girls, the groups, the boys, then the overs.” Imagine his displeasure when viewers voted the X Factor creator and judge into mentoring the “overs” category, which has no upper age limit. U.K.’s X Factor contestant Josh Daniel’s emotional audition caused judge Simon Cowell to tear up as the singer performed a rendition of Labrinth’s “Jealous.”

The 21-year-old car mechanic lost his best friend two years prior — an experience that offered him new meaning in the song. “I’m jealous that he’s now happy in heaven, that he’s moved onto a better place and that I can’t still be with him,” Daniel said.

Just days after being let go from New Zealand’s X Factor, Natalia Kills has spoken out about her nasty comments that got her the boot. 

Kills’ critique of contestant Joe Irvine’s performance on March 15 went viral as she called Irvine a doppelganger of her husband and fellow judge, Willy Moon, saying she was disgusted by how much Irvine copied Moon. “Do you not have any value or respect for originality? You’re a laughingstock. It’s cheesy, it’s disgusting,” she said.
