Michelle Obama showers Zendaya with compliments in new video

Michelle Obama has respect for Zendaya.

The First Lady dropped in at Howard University to promote her Reach Higher and Better Make Room campaigns. While there, she played a couple games with YouTube star Lilly Singh, including a quick word association session to dole out compliments to particular public figures. First up, Zendaya.

“Beautiful, talented, kind giving, caring, role model,” Obama said.

“I love that,” Singh replied. “Goals. I’m going to tweet this to you, Zendaya.”

Spider-Man director confirms Zendaya character name

Marvel Studios head honcho Kevin Feige introduced Spider-Man: Homecoming director Jon Watts and Co. to the Hall H stage at Comic-Con Saturday night, but kept the identities of Zendaya, Tony Revolori, Jacob Batalon, and Laura Harrier’s characters under waps. Zendaya confirms role in Spider-Man reboot

A few weeks after her casting in the upcoming Spider-Man reboot was revealed, Zendaya has confirmed her involvement in the next film about the Marvel web-slinger. But that doesn’t mean she can say much about it. 

“I can’t say anything else other than I’m going to be in it,” she said during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
