Margot Robbie will officially be picking up Harley Quinn’s baseball bat once again when she returns for the Suicide Squad spinoff Gotham City Sirens — based on the comic chronicling the misadventures of her and fellow DC Comics villainesses like Catwoman and Poison Ivy — and another member of the Squad is ready to suit up with her.

Will Smith, who starred alongside Robbie as the expert marksman Deadshot, told MTV International that he’d love to make a cameo in the film, which will is set to be directed by Suicide Squad helmer David Ayer.

“I’d definitely love to be in it,” Smith said. “I love Margot Robbie, I would do, like, anything she wants to do.”

But even if he doesn’t appear in Sirens, it’s likely we haven’t seen the last of Smith as Deadshot. While Ayer is expected to focus on Robbie’s project next, sources told EW that Warner Bros. is still planning a Suicide Squad sequel and is also contemplating moving ahead on a Deadshot project.

Gotham City Sirens does not yet have a release date. Watch Smith’s MTV International interview in the video above.
